Lol Chevy should have been the Tesla of the electric car world. That even would have sold well.

  3. Van Huynh

    Great review Tom.

  4. ShineAqua

Not a lot of people remember Sleater-Kinney. That makes me feel old.

  5. Kent Purdy

    Great review.

The key to an electric car is: it can't look stupid. Car companies have one job: It has to look normal, it can't look stupid

Nice to see someone not compare it to the Tesla, yes Telsa is the best but not everyone is super rich either, Chevy have done it right

Wow that was a an amazing review!!! Well done.

Washington State does have EV incentive – no sales tax (on new EVs). But GM financial has a hard time believing it and will probably result in numerous phone calls.

A 238 mile range and you said you never felt like you were never worried about running out of power.
I checked on the Chevy site and they have a program where you can enter your starting and ending points to see if you can make it on one charge.
My sister lives 163 miles (LA to San Diego) from me and it says I would need to stop for a charge! Granted most of the drive is SoCal freeway driving but this really is for just city driving isn't it?

    This or the e-Golf?

The interior is really bad for a $40k+ car. It looks darn right out of a Sonic. Ehhh, at that door panel 5:44 .

Forget the Model 3. How does this compare to the BMW i3 REX?

Great review. More quality EV efforts like this and the shift towards an electric car world might actually take place.

It's a CARB Compliance Car & GM is losing money on every one. Why advertise.

Still the biggest problem is that it's seemingly aimed at city dwellers but nobody I know has a garage where they could charge it. At my office there's 2 charge ports at work but that's it!

I have seen one in the local parking lot and it looks cheap and ugly. For 43k, I can pick up a Tesla model 3… No thank you!

You make a review of an electric car very well. I wouldn't buy electric as I like to take road trips but I think the vehicle has potential.
