2019 Chevrolet Blazer – Review & Road Test

With a name that harkens back to rugged Blazers of yore, the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer forges…er…blazes its own path; though that path probably won’t involve unpaved roads. Crafted for urban and suburban use, the latest Blazer rides and steers in satisfying fashion while treating occupants to a roomy, comfortable, tech-filled cabin. Add daring style and you’ve got an SUV that is, as the kids say, “lit”. Heck, even Kelley Blue Book’s Micah Muzio likes the new Chevy Blazer. Follow along to hear why.

They should have built it off of the colorado/canyon platform. Something to go up against the wrangler and 4runner. There are enough crossovers. Not everyone wants a cute ute that drives like a car

Chevy screwed up.  They already had SUVS / didn't need another duplication of those.  What they needed was a true truck frame-based off roader like the 2020 Ford Bronco is going to be.   Now they won't have anything to compete against that with.  Lost opportunity, GM.  >: |

Engine start / stop that you can't disable and cylinder deactivation has mechanics and dealers licking their lips. This thing won't last past warranty. That gold bow tie screams mediocrity and lack of reliability.
